My Projects

A 90s-inspired website with a red brick background. A header with a wooden background texture shows a joke that says 'When I am stresed I like to iron clothes. It is a great way to let off steam.'

This website was heavily inspired by the 1990s Geocities era of the internet. It features lots of custom SVGs that I made myself while learning how to make cool shapes and textures with SVGs by hand. The bricks, the wooden backgrounds, and even the clipboard icon were all made by me by hand!

Technologies Used

Hono + JSX, SVG graphics, Sqlite

P.S., I am hosting this one on my homelab! It's running from my Raspbery Pi!

This project was made as a part of me using the Codecrafters project "Build your own Shell". However, Codecrafters is not a traditional "tutorial" site, and this project is built by me. Codecrafters tells you what feature to add next, and you build that out however you see fit. You also choose your programming language, and I opted to go with Rust.

Just a sample of some concepts I built: I built a custom parser, multiple shell builtins, auto-complete, and the ability to run external programs that are on the system path.

Technologies Used

Rust, rustyline

P.S., I did most of this with the Rust standard library! The auto-complete required me to pull in a library, but I went as far as I could!
