About Me

I am passionate about many different topics, but my original background is in music. I earned a music education degree and was teaching for a few years before I discovered and fell in love with programming. I started dedicating much of my free time to learning web development, and I eventually made the transition to working as a programmer for a large school system.

I have a lot of interests outside of programming, such as guitar and piano, writing and arranging music, learning Japanese (since 2019), running a homelab.

I have a wonderful wife, and I don't know where I'd be right now without her. We also have two sweet puppies.
